Welcome to the class wiki for PPR, Chapter 4. This wiki site will be used to record teacher candidate responds to learning-related problems.
Objective
Utilizing information presented in Chapter 4, "The Act of Teaching", as well as what has been learned in the "Child Development and Learning Theories class", teacher candidates will relate posted learner-related problems to what we know about learning and use higher-order thinking skills to post a resolution to each given problem.
Instructions
Each page (listed in the navigation pane), contains a learning-related problem that has been shared with the writers of the PPR text, "The Act of Teaching". There are eight problems posted.
Choose four problems and prepare a response to two questions, citing sources that support your position.
After you have completed your responses, you will "submit" the Ch4A2 assignment in Blackboard, adding the comment "I have completed my responses on the Chapter 4 class wiki."
Grading
Review the "Ch4 Wiki Rubric" in Blackboard before completing this assignment so you will know how you will be assessed.
